My research focuses on developing assistive technologies for urban environment navigation for people with disabilities. Metropolitan areas are home to about two-thirds of adults with disability in the United States. However, the accessibility of public transportation in urban areas is not fully realized for some populations with disabilities. I am developing a smart wearable system to make the urban more inclusive.
