
Smart Cities Postdoctoral Associate
Charalampos Avraam is a Smart Cities Postdoctoral Associate at New York University’s Center for Urban Science and Progress. His research employs optimization, game theory, and dynamical systems for the design of resilient interdependent energy, food, and water infrastructures against climate change and cyber-physical threats. Charalampos obtained his PhD in Civil and Systems Engineering (2021) and his MSE in Applied Mathematics and Statistics (2020) at Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a MPhil in Management Science and Operations from the University of Cambridge (2016) and a Diploma (5-year curriculum) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (2015).
