Ana Elisa is a doctoral student in the MIR group under the direction of Dr. Juan Pablo Bello. She received her Master’s degree in Music Technology from NYU Steinhardt in 2015 and a B.S. in Systems Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela. She is also a classically trained pianist. Currently, she is working on the SONYC project at NYU with her research focusing on citizen science and crowdsourcing techniques for machine listening in urban environments and music.
