Please join us for our second Urban Informatics Research Webinar featuring PhD candidate Nick Johnson, where he will discuss his research on how electronic waste and examining in particular the impact and global flows of this waste stream. You will not only hear about techniques being applied to use data to make a social impact in cities, but also have the opportunity to learn more about NYU CUSP’s educational programs.

Nick Johnson began his PhD Program at the University of Warwick in 2014. Prior to that, he worked at CUSP as an assistant research scientist focusing on developing a citizen science laboratory and researching the impact and pervasiveness of waste in urban environments. His research interests continue in the waste theme looking at electronic waste and examining in particular the impact and global flows of this waste stream.
