Our first AUSG Speaker event will feature Andrew Young, whose research efforts focus on the effect of technology and data-driven policies on public institutions. His grant-funded projects range from the impact of open government data; methods for corporate data to benefit the public; to the adoption of technology innovations in federal agencies. Recently, he has led research on the potential application of blockchain technologies to address public problems in cities.

At our event, Andrew will share both his experience of establishing data collaboratives and his recent work of utilizing Blockchain for identity management in cities. For those of you that want to dive into the subject material beforehand, please see the links below.

Help us welcome Andrew next Friday, November 1st at 6pm and get our speaker series off to a good start! (limited) Drinks and snacks will be provided.
