SimSpace Lab

The SimSpace Lab at CUSP and the NYU Tandon Department of Computer Science and Engineering is a mixed sensing and simulation facility for studying human behavior in intricately high-fidelity. We are interested in a range of application areas, including autonomous vehicles, special effects and animation, and future forms of location-aware technology being developed as Edge AI.

The SimSpaceLab at the Center for Urban Science + Progress and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is a mixed sensing and simulation facility for studying human behavior in intricately high-fidelity. We are interested in a range of application areas, including autonomous vehicles, special effects and animation, and future forms of location-aware technology being developed as Edge AI. In all cases, we study how these phenomena and systems work in urban context, usually at the streetscape, where human experience plays a critical role.
