Mayor Bloomberg, NYU President John Sexton and MTA Chairman Joseph Lhota announce a historic partnership to create the Center for Urban Science + Progress, a new applied sciences center, in downtown Brooklyn. The academic and private-sector consortium is the city’s next step in the City’s Applied Sciences NYC Initiative.
