As Assistant Director for Academic Services, Sattik plays a strategic role in coordinating academic term logistics, planning the student experience, academic counseling, and various other student services. Prior to joining NYU, Sattik worked at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
Sattik earned his B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University in 2001 and his Ed.M. in College Student Affairs from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education in 2011. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in education at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. He regularly presents at national student affairs conferences including ACPA and NASPA. His research interests include inequality and stratification in education, higher education access for underrepresented students, and university-community partnerships.
