Daniel Lewis, a Visiting Scholar at CUSP, is a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. While at CUSP, Daniel works closely with Associate Professor Tom Kirchner on the application of urban informatics approaches to population health.
Daniel has a M.S. degree in Geographic Information Science and a Ph.D. in Geography from University College London, UK. His research focuses on health and medical geography with applications investigating socio-spatial variation in public health outcomes. His current project consists of a longitudinal cohort of adolescents and their neighborhood environments in East London and aims to evaluate the effect of Olympic-led structural regeneration on their health and well-being.
