Caryn is the Program Manager for Research Strategies and Activities at CUSP and focuses on program management of CUSP’s research portfolio. In this capacity she works with faculty and researchers on project and initiative planning; writing, editing, and preparing project material; tracking and maintaining information on CUSP’s research portfolio; and developing guidelines and processes to enhance day-to-day operations of the research team. Caryn also works with the education team on the student research portfolio and she oversees the coordination of the CUSP Research Seminars. Prior to joining CUSP, Caryn spent seven years working for the National Academy of Sciences’ Board on Physics and Astronomy, where she coordinated and supported the work of multiple scientific advisory committees. Caryn holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
