Economics Undergrad from the Universidad de Los Andes, after that, following a passion for urban economics I started campaigning with Enrique Peñalosa to help him win the 2015 mayoral election of Bogotá, moving on to working in Bogotá´s Planning Department. After a year and a half helping develop the land use plan, I decided it was time to improve some technical skills and moved to New York to get a Masters degree from NYU CUSP.

Most Recent Professional Experience

Contractor for Bogotá’s Planning Department

Responsible for making sure the vision developed during Enriques Peñalosa´s campaign for becoming Bogota´s Mayor for the 2016-2019 period was included in the government plan developed for his administration and approved by the city´s council. Also helping develop the Land Use Plan that Bogotá will use for the following 12 years. Finally working with the municipalities that surround Bogotá to develop regional projects and housing policies.
